I’m Erin Stratton.
brand, print and web designer
brand & marketing strategist.
artist. maker. creative problem solver.
Design is a powerful communication tool.
Color, image, type and texture can say more – instantly – than pages of text.
And that’s a very good thing in today’s TL;DR culture. (that’s internet for ‘too long, didn’t read’)
For nearly 20 years,
I’ve designed for small businesses, coaches, writers and speakers.
I love translating the inspiring work you’re doing in the world into beautiful, effective graphics and websites that have an emotional impact on your ideal clients.
pssst… my visual communication and storytelling skills
+ awesome nerdy web conversion knowledge
also bring you tangible business results
Strategic design is more than pretty pictures — it’s dozens of intricate visual choices that give your business a voice. I’ll share my 20+ years of design and marketing experience with you and help you find the sweet spots where your efforts turn into connections.
I love creating beautiful things, but beauty for beauty’s sake won’t help your business. Meaningful design moves your business forward by instantly showing your perfect clients that you share values. That’s why, when we work together, we’ll spend time digging into your intentions, dreams and plans for your business. We’ll also talk about your clients and what really motivates them.
I’m always learning, growing and exploring, both personally and professionally. I love to be surrounded by people who are active in their own evolution… which is why I love working with entrepreneurs. Whether you’re evolving in your business, brand, or vision, it’s always exciting and inspiring to help you reach new heights!
THE HANDMADE TOUCH
I’m not just a digital design pixel-wizard, I’m a hands-on maker as well. I bring my lifetime obsession with making things by hand to every brand. This handmade touch creates an individual brand experience like no other.
Entrepreneurs and small companies come to me for bushels of reasons — they want to make a better first impression, or they’re ashamed of their outdated or under-designed materials, or maybe they’re ready more beautiful materials now that their company has “grown up”.
I’m 100% here for every single one of these valid and fantastic reasons. And, as long as we’re going to get into it with your designs, I’m going to encourage you to stretch a little bit further… into the true story of your business.
Design is beauty with a purpose: to communicate
The bigger truth about design is that it’s really about fostering communication and greater understanding. Your designs should reflect your values, show who you really are and convey the feeling of what it is like to work with you.
When I create a design, this is the place I work from.
While I was on business sabbatical…
I took a Day Job (gasp!) as VP of Marketing for SecurePRO, a local physical security (alarm/fire/video) company. In that role, I did hands-on design, marketing, trade show support and product management for SecurePRO and Observables, which is their start-up arm in the IOT space.
I captured lots of new knowledge, experience and real-world data on lots of topics! Some of my favorites for you are designing and running simple email and social media marketing campaigns, going on the road with trade shows on a budget, and customer experience design.
